Discover the ultimate gay spa experience in Bangkok with our honest and humorous review of Prince Spa. Learn about the vibe, prices, and massage experience to see if it's worth a visit for gay travelers in Thailand.
While everyone else was living their best lives at White Party Bangkok, I was… let’s say not being chosen.
So naturally, instead of spiraling, I did what any emotionally mature gay traveler would do:
I went exploring.
That’s how I ended up at Prince Spa, a gay spa in Bangkok that came highly recommended by my Thai bestie (check their profile — you know who you are). And let me say this upfront:
If you’re looking for a gay spa that fully commits to the fantasy, Prince Spa might be one of the spiciest experiences I’ve had in Thailand.
This post is a complete, honest breakdown of:
The facilities
The process
The overall gay experience
And whether I’d recommend Prince Spa to other gay travelers
First Impressions: Where the Experience Starts Immediately
Prince Spa makes a statement the second you walk in.
Right at the entrance, there’s a large glass-walled area where the masseurs are openly hanging out — almost like a showcase. Think gym equipment, a pool table, and a lineup of very fit, very confident men.
And yes… they notice you.
They line up.
They make eye contact.
Some flex. Some smile. Some subtly lift their shirts.
It’s theatrical, intentional, and wildly effective.
I’m not immune to hot men paying attention to me, so I immediately got nervous — which, frankly, is part of the charm.
Choosing Your Masseur & Pricing Transparency
Once the lineup is complete, a staff member approaches you and asks which masseur you’d like. Yes — you choose.
Is it awkward being stared at by a room full of attractive men while you decide?
Absolutely.
But it’s also very affirming.
After you choose, you head to the cashier. One thing Prince Spa does very well is transparency:
You pay everything upfront
The massage fee includes the tip
No awkward negotiating later
My visit came out to roughly 2,800 THB, which is definitely on the higher end — but you’re paying for the full experience.
They also sell poppers at the counter, should you want them. (The cashier was very invested in upselling me, apparently because my chosen masseur was “fully loaded.” I’ll let you interpret that however you like.)
The Rooms & Facilities
I opted for the most basic room, and honestly — it was more than fine.
Clean bed
Clean bathroom
Private shower
Well-maintained overall
There are upgraded rooms available at higher prices, but even the standard option felt comfortable and safe.
The Massage & Overall Gay Experience
The experience itself moved… fast.
From the moment we entered the room, my masseur was immediately affectionate — enthusiastic, playful, and very good at making me feel wanted. Compliments were flowing. Confidence was high. My ego? Thriving.
Yes, I’m fully aware that this is part of the job.
Yes, it still worked on me.
After a quick shower, the energy shifted into something calmer and more intimate. The massage itself was solid — not life-changing, but absolutely acceptable. His hands were firm, a little rough (gym hands), which I personally enjoyed.
Conversation flowed easily:
Work
Relationships
Travel
Life
His English wasn’t fluent, but it was more than enough to connect.
Where Prince Spa really shines, though, is in how personal the experience feels. He made me feel less like a customer and more like someone he was genuinely excited about — a “longtime crush” kind of energy rather than a transactional one.
Again, illusion? Probably.
Effective? Absolutely.
After the Massage: Expectations vs. Reality
Afterward, we exchanged Instagram and went our separate ways. I left feeling genuinely satisfied — not just physically, but emotionally.
Prince Spa didn’t just make me feel desired.
It made me feel like a top-shelf gay.
Later that night, he messaged me — checking in, complimenting me, asking to see me again. When he eventually suggested meeting at my hotel for a fee, I politely declined.
Reality check received. Delusion broken.
But honestly? I wasn’t mad.
What surprised me most was that he kept messaging me long after — even after I left Thailand. Casual check-ins, selfies, daily life updates. No money talk. No pressure.
To this day (2026, I literally met him at 2024's White Party), I still don’t fully know whether it was genuine interest or long-term customer investment.
Either way, the experience at Prince Spa itself didn’t change.
Would I Recommend Prince Spa?
Yes. But only if you are here for THE SPICE. Massage-wise, it was passable, but if you've got a thirst to quench and that's the only thing that matters, then Prince Spa might be the place for you. If you're more of a massage-buff.... then I'm not sure if I would 100% recommend this place specifically.
I recommended Prince Spa to a very thirsty friend, and he came back with a 10/10 review.
Prince Spa is ideal if:
You’re a gay traveler in Bangkok
You’re feeling spicy
You want a confidence boost
Your Grindr hookup ghosts you last minute (we’ve all been there)
Instead of spiraling, Prince Spa offers a controlled, affirming alternative where the attention is guaranteed.
Who Might Not Enjoy Prince Spa
One thing to note:
Most masseurs fall into the hunky / athletic / bodybuilder-adjacent category.
If you’re specifically into:
Twinks
Bears
Older body types
This might not be the place for you.
That said, the photos on their website don’t fully do the masseurs justice — many look better in real life.
And as I said. This place is primarily for the spice. If you want a real massage... then this place might not be it for you.
Final Thoughts from a Gay Traveler
Prince Spa delivers exactly what it promises:
A confident, spicy, well-run gay spa experience in Bangkok.
Is it expensive? Yes.
Is it indulgent? Absolutely.
Is it worth trying at least once? I think so.
Especially if you’re already dressed, ready, and suddenly blocked on Grindr — Prince Spa might just save your night.
